Wyvern Kodiak Designs LLC — Limited Lifetime Warranty

At Wyvern Kodiak Designs LLC (“Wyvern Kodiak Designs”), we take pride in producing high‑quality cutting tools built for reliability and performance. All of our knives, sharpeners, and accessories are intended solely for their designed purpose as cutting tools. We stand behind the craftsmanship of our products and offer the following Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original purchaser.

1. Warranty Coverage

Wyvern Kodiak Designs warrants that all genuine Wyvern Kodiak Designs products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product under normal use.

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Wyvern Kodiak Designs will, at its sole discretion:

  • Repair the product, or
  • Replace the product with the same or a comparable model.

No other warranties, express or implied, are provided outside of what is stated in this document.

2. What This Warranty Does NOT Cover

This warranty does not cover damage, failure, or deterioration caused by:

  • Misuse or abuse, including but not limited to prying, digging, striking, batoning, or any use outside normal cutting tasks.
  • Neglect or improper maintenance, including failure to clean, lubricate, or store the product properly.
  • Accidents, drops, or impact damage.
  • Improper sharpening or sharpening with incorrect tools or techniques.
  • Normal wear and tear, including blade dulling, cosmetic scratches, finish fading, and expected degradation from regular use.
  • Loss or damage to metal clips, pocket clips, or attachment hardware.
  • Corrosion or rust resulting from lack of proper care.
  • Products not manufactured by Wyvern Kodiak Designs, even if purchased through our website or sold alongside our products.

Products purchased through unauthorized sellers or resale markets (including second‑hand sales) are not covered.

3. Actions That Void the Warranty

The following actions immediately void this warranty:

  • Disassembly of any product, including removal of screws or internal components.
  • Modification in any form (customizing, grinding, drilling, reshaping, coatings, etc.).
  • Any repair or service performed by an individual or entity other than Wyvern Kodiak Designs.

4. Service and Claims Process

To initiate a warranty claim:

  1. Contact Wyvern Kodiak Designs directly via our official website or customer support email.
  2. Provide proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
  3. We may request photographs or require the product to be shipped to us for inspection.

All shipping costs for sending an item in for evaluation are the responsibility of the customer. If a defect is confirmed, return shipping will be covered by Wyvern Kodiak Designs.

Wyvern Kodiak Designs retains the right to determine whether the product is eligible for warranty service.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Wyvern Kodiak Designs shall not be liable for any incidental, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, including but not limited to damage to property or personal injury arising from the use or misuse of our products.
  • This warranty provides limited legal rights; you may have additional rights depending on your jurisdiction.

6. Warranty Eligibility

This warranty:

  • Applies only to the original purchaser.
  • Is non‑transferable.
  • Covers products purchased directly from Wyvern Kodiak Designs or from an authorized retailer.

Purchasing from non‑authorized sellers (including auction sites, classifieds, and third‑party resellers) voids warranty eligibility.

7. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a Wyvern Kodiak Designs product, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms of this Limited Lifetime Warranty.
